Hi! I’m Kaitlyn Fulmore.
I am a full-time student at Virginia Commonwealth University. However, whenever I’m not going to class, I spend time hiking, reading, writing, and taking pictures of friends, families, or strangers.
I do portrait photography and sports photography, along with different photojournalism assignments from VCU’s independent student newspaper The Commonwealth Times. I love to capture genuine smiles and raw emotions in my portraits, and personal achievements and dedication in my sport photography.
I started taking photos for fun my freshman year of high school, and got to take pictures of so many different people, places, and events thanks to the yearbook. My junior year I got my 80mm lens, and started taking portraits for my friends and family seriously. I have Pinterest boards galore of different photoshoot ideas, poses, and outfits, and love to talk out each photoshoot concept with every customer. I have learned a lot in the past few years about posing, lighting, making people feel natural in front of the camera, and so much more. I still have a lot to learn, but I look forward to trying out new techniques, poses and ideas.
